I started Durango Shade Company in 2013, a few years after graduating from Fort Lewis College.  I was eager to put my business degree to use as well as expand on my knowledge of home construction and carpentry skills.  We started off by offering a small selection of interior window treatments and smaller patio shades.  Over the next few years with industry research, we expanded to offer several of the best manufactures in both interior and exterior shades. Offering the best products, with personal, professional service has help us grow and become the business we are today. When I am not working, I can be found enjoying time in the mountains with my family, rafting, fishing and enjoying all the activities this wonderful area has to offer.
